When it comes to photography, I have two personas.

“Nagel Studios” originated from a business need. While I was working as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Baskin-Robbins we simply didn’t have enough money in the budget for specific types of photography, so I got scrappy and did it myself. The result saved Baskin-Robbins over $500,000 in 6 years.

“outerbostonia photography” originated from a personal need. In 2010, I wasn’t feeling like I had enough creative opportunity in my work life, so I began taking photos as a hobby in my downtime to express myself creatively. After much encouragement from friends, I decided to begin selling my work on Etsy. The name “outerbostonia” is a reference to greater New England, the muse for a majority of my work.
